From the builder
My name is Rhys and I'm the owner of Viking Built. I started my career as a carpenter way back in 2006 as a carpenter working on high end renovations across the Sydney metropolitan area. After a completing an apprenticeship, I decided it was to time for a change. My travels took me to Sweden, where I lived for four years playing rugby semi professionally, eventually representing Sweden. It was there and through travelling abroad that I developed a love for design and its many representations. With cold dark, long European winters, a comfortable and inspiring home was important than ever.

Upon returning to Australia I decided to pursue a passion for creating inspiring spaces for people's homes and businesses. Since we began Viking Built, we have been building a team that loves creating as much as we do. Life is too short to be unhappy so we aim to work with clients and tradespeople that are focused on quality of the product, delivered in a friendly environment where everyone enjoys turning up to work every day.
